The only good thing was the atmosphere, other than that I found the menu quite dull, and the food was just about passable. I expected more from this restaurant in such a cool area. Service far from spectacular. I wouldn't go there again.

After 14 weeks in Paris and 24 nights eating out I can safely state that Au Bon Accueil wins hands down in all three catagories. Their card selection and price is streets ahead of most of the other places we visited. A good selection of quality produce treated simply and served well. No music, thank the lord!

We recognized this bistro even after its revamping; it was almost dirty, but today it's elegant, relaxing and not too busy. Bravo for the new look. However, the owners should be inspired to smile more often by the new decorations! Bravo for the chef - super cuisine.

This place was most hospitable. Not only did we not have reservations but they weren't serving dinner yet and they allowed us in to sit & have a drink while they finished getting ready for the dinner meals. The waitstaff spoke very good English & offered to help translate the menu. Our meal, prix fixe was just under $100 US with a great bottle of wine. Less than what you'd expect to pay in the states for a great meal in any major city. Definitely a place to try.
