July 1st, new VAT for restaurants.

For restaurateurs dream becomes reality. 2 different VAT, food 5.5%, 19.6% drink alcohol. Part beverage alcohol can represent 20% of the bill, which is 11.28% improvement in margin. What will it do? Probably small adjustments, wages, cuts prices on menu, this may account for 5% ... It will therefore 6% of additional margin. Some will work less, because the job is hard with a lot of hours on call.This measure in the current reduces the revenue of the state with little positive effect for clients. Therefore an old good idea of the result seems not to go in the desired direction.
